Meichen tube bundle dryers are a safe and reliable dryer due to their operation method. The steam tube bundle rotates slowly and conveys the material to be dried axially through the tube bundle. Shovels elevate the material along the circumference, and then the material trickles through the tube bundle back into the trough. The material gets dried by contact with the tubes and by convection.
Technical Advantages. 1. All Heat Exchanger tubes and tubesheets are joined by strength expansion.
Since the first Tube Bundle Dryer manufactured in 2001, expansion jointing technology has been used all the time. Due to the special structure of the tube bundle dryer, the flexible deformation of the middle steel tube is drooped up to 15 mm. During the rotation of the tube bundle, alternating stress is generated, which acts on the root of the steel tube and the tube sheet. The carbon content is reduced due to the heat affected zone of the weld. The strength is reduced, so the steel pipe is easy to break. So we use a fully expanded process.
2. Mechanical Process is used to guarantee the tube bundle shaft concentricity.
Changchun Meichen uses heavy lathe machine to machine the tube bundle half shaft to guarantee the shaft concentricity. It turns out that this is the best way to ensure product performance.
3. The half shaft of the tube bundle is made of high quality forged S355J2G3 alloy material (the tensile strength and yield strength are higher than Q345R, about 10-25%), and the mechanical properties are improved by multi-stage heat treated and normalizing. And the UT ultrasonic flaw detection is finally carried out.
4. The three support plates and the heat exchange tubes have protective sleeves to increase the rigidity of the tube bundle and avoid bumping of the steel tubes.
5. The transmission mode is changed to the side drive, the operation is more stable, the maintenance is more convenient, and the shape is more tough.
